ELO Boosting Explained

Cheap ELO Boost: How to Pay Less for a LoL Boost Without Risking Your Account

Everyone wants a cheap ELO boost — and there's nothing wrong with that. But in boosting, the price isn't just a number: it tells you how the boost will be played. This guide explains why some boosts are suspiciously cheap, what you risk with them, and the honest ways to pay less for a boost that keeps your account safe.

Why Some Boosts Are So Cheap

A boost costs a skilled player's time — many games of it. When a price is far below what others charge, the saving usually comes from one of these:

  • Large booster pools paid per game: the order goes to whoever accepts the lowest rate, often a different player each session.
  • Rushed play: many games back to back, sometimes on several accounts at once, with no care for how the account looks afterwards.
  • Scripts or bots: the fastest way to cut costs, and the fastest way to get an account banned.
  • Skipped protection: no offline mode, no VPN — so your account suddenly logs in from another country, in front of your whole friends list.

The Real Cost of a Too-Cheap Boost

A suspended or banned account costs far more than the money you saved — especially if you've bought skins over the years.

Low LP gains after the boost: a booster who loses many games on the way up leaves your MMR low, so your own wins give less LP afterwards. Why LP gains drop explains it.

No refund when it goes wrong: rock-bottom services rarely have a refund policy worth the name.

7 Honest Ways to Pay Less for a Safe Boost

Way 01

Choose Solo Instead of Duo

Solo boosts (the booster plays on your account) cost less than duo boosts, because only one player is involved. Silver IV to Gold IV, for example, costs $40 solo and $56 duo.

Way 02

Use Net Wins for Short Climbs

If you're close to the next division, a handful of wins can cost less than a division boost. Net wins start at $1.50 per win in Iron, $2.50 in Silver and $3.50 in Gold.

Way 03

Order Wins in Fives

With pay for 5, get 6, every 5 wins you pay for include 1 free. Ten paid wins become 12 — the most value per dollar.

Way 04

Use a Friend's Referral Code

A referral code takes 20% off your first order. If a friend has ordered before, ask them for their code — they also earn credit for the next one.

Way 05

Enter Your Current LP

If you're halfway through a division, you only pay for the part that's left. Set your current LP in the configurator and the first division is discounted.

Way 06

Pay Only for the Divisions You Need

Every division is priced on its own, so you never pay for a full tier you don't need. Silver II to Gold IV is just two Silver divisions — $20 solo. And low LP gains don't cost extra: the price per division is the same either way.

Way 07

Skip Extras You Don't Need

Priority start and the bonus win are optional. If you're not in a hurry, leave them off.
