Best Jungle Champions for Low ELO — 2026 Tier List

Jungle is the role with the highest carry potential in low elo — and also the most punishing if you pick the wrong champion. The right jungler lets you snowball lanes, take objectives solo, and close out games through individual skill alone. The wrong one leaves you dependent on teammates who may never be in position to help.
This list is built from personal experience running hundreds of games on the Middle East server in 2026. Every champion here has been selected based on actual performance in the Iron–Gold bracket, not theoretical tier lists from high elo.
What Makes a Good Low ELO Jungler
Before the picks, understand the criteria. A champion earns a spot on this list by doing at least two of the following:
Clearing fast — More time in the jungle means more farm, more ganks, and less downtime.
Carrying 1v9 — Can win a game single-handedly even when teammates are behind.
Objective control — Can solo Dragon or Baron in reasonable time, which matters enormously when your team won't group.
Simple execution — A champion that requires 500 hours to play correctly is not a good climb pick. If you're spending mental energy on combos, you're not spending it on macro.

⚡ Master Yi
EasyHard Carry
The undisputed king of low elo jungle. Master Yi farms fast, clears efficiently, and can 1v5 a game the moment he gets two items. In Iron through Platinum, CC is too uncoordinated to consistently shut him down, which means his weakness is largely neutralised. He scales from nothing into a genuine game-deciding threat every single game. His learning curve is among the lowest in the role.
Key tip: Don't gank early unless you find a free kill. Farm to Kraken Slayer + Rageblade, then look for opportunities. Your power spike is dramatically stronger than anything low elo opponents have in the mid-game.
🐉 Warwick
EasyCarry
Warwick is the most forgiving jungler in the game. His passive sustain means you almost never have to recall early, and his W (target low HP enemies) gives you a built-in tracking system that low elo players cannot counter. His ultimate is a reliable crowd control tool even in the hands of a new player. He clears fast, ganks effectively from level 3, and transitions into a mid-game brawler who can fight constantly without going base.
Key tip: Abuse your W — whenever an enemy is below 50% HP anywhere on the map, Warwick moves faster toward them. Chase those indicators aggressively. In low elo, people will die to greedy plays and Warwick punishes them harder than any other jungler.
🌑 Nocturne
EasyHard Carry
Nocturne punishes low elo's biggest weakness: poor vision. His ultimate (global fear + darkness) creates a 4-second window where the entire enemy team is blind, panicked, and making bad decisions. In high elo, players know how to handle it. In Gold and below, players run in circles and die. His early clear is fast, his dueling is strong, and he can appear anywhere on the map the moment he hits level 6.
Key tip: Save your ultimate for after a teamfight starts, not to initiate. Let your team engage first, then press R when enemies are already committed to the fight. The darkness traps them rather than warning them to scatter.

Strong picks with high climb potential
A Tier — Strong Low ELO Options
🐸 Amumu
EasyTeam Carry
Amumu is one of the easiest carries in low elo because his ultimate is a fight-winner on its own. A 2-person ultimate in a 5v5 means your team needs to be catastrophically bad to lose the fight. He has great clear speed with his E, high damage from magic resistance shred, and his Q provides reliable gank threat from level 3. He itemises cheaply and builds toward team utility rather than personal mechanics.
Key tip: Build Sunfire Aegis into Abyssal Mask as your first two items. The magic resistance reduction stacks with your passive, turning you into a deceptively high-damage threat that also has a game-winning crowd control ultimate.
🔥 Shyvana
EasyCarry
Shyvana is the fastest objective clearer on this list. She can solo Dragon at level 5 before most junglers would consider attempting it, and her Dragon buff makes her progressively stronger as the game goes on. In low elo where Dragon is frequently unchallenged, Shyvana snowballs harder than almost any other jungler. She has no hard CC, but her damage in dragon form is extreme and her ultimate provides a strong engage in teamfights.
Key tip: Always start the game with Dragon priority. Ward the Dragon pit at level 3 and try to take your first solo Dragon between levels 5–6 before your opponents realise it's possible. Low elo teams almost never contest early Dragon.
⚔️ Vi
MediumCarry
Vi fills a gap on this list by being a reliable gank threat from level 3 with strong early pressure. Her Q (charge) provides a long-range gap close with knockup, making gank setups simple even without lane priority. Her ultimate is a point-and-click lockdown on any single target — perfect for eliminating the fed enemy carry in teamfights. She's slightly more mechanical than the S-tier picks but well within reach for any dedicated player.
Key tip: Always save your ultimate for the enemy carry in teamfights — not the closest target. Diving past a frontline to lock down an ADC with zero escape is Vi's most game-deciding play, and low elo ADCs have no answer for it.
B
Solid but require more investment
B Tier — Solid But Conditional
🕷️ Elise
HardEarly Carry
Elise is a dominant early-game jungler who falls off sharply without snowballing. She has the best level 3 gank pressure of any champion on this list — her E (cocoon) is a reliable stun that makes ganks almost guaranteed kills if your laner cooperates. The B tier placement reflects her difficulty: she requires form-switching muscle memory and sharp early decision making. If you invest the practice time, she's an A-tier pick. Pick up if you have 50+ games on her already.
Key tip: Always open Human form in fights, land your stun, then switch to Spider form for sustained damage. Never open in Spider form — you lose the stun and your gank fails.
💀 Karthus
EasyScale Carry
Karthus jungle is a polarising pick — he has among the worst gank threat before level 6, but one of the highest late-game damage outputs in the entire game. His ultimate (global damage) is a free kill on any low-HP target across the map, which in low elo happens constantly. He farms faster than anyone, dies happily (his passive deals damage after death), and scales into a game-ender with 3 items. The B tier ranking is conditional on your patience to farm without ganking for 15 minutes.
Key tip: Never try to gank before level 6 unless you have a massive setup from your laner. Use those early levels to full clear twice and build a significant farm lead. By the time you hit Shadowflame + Rabadon's, your ultimate oneshots anyone who touches your lanes.
Champions to Avoid in Low ELO Jungle
These champions are strong in the right hands but consistently underperform in low elo for structural reasons:
Kindred — Requires stack management and map knowledge that punishes players who miss marks. Too easy to fall behind permanently.
Nidalee — Skill-shot dependent, falls off without an early lead, and her full kit requires hundreds of games to execute correctly.
Graves — Positioning-intensive. His power comes from short-range burst that requires you to be in the right place at the right time — a high-skill requirement.
Lee Sin — The most mechanically demanding jungler in the game. Every high-elo highlight was built on thousands of hours of practice. In low elo, an average Lee Sin player is a liability, not an asset.
The one-trick principle: Any champion at A tier or above will climb you to Gold if you put in 50+ games on it. Champion selection matters less than mastery depth. Pick one from S or A tier and commit to it for a full month before judging results.
Final Advice
If you want the single best champion to climb from Iron to Gold on ME server in 2026, it's Master Yi — and it isn't close. His ceiling in low elo is genuinely unlimited, his farming is automatic after 20 games, and his ability to end games once fed is unmatched. You can read the full build and pathing guide in the Master Yi Build Guide.
If you want something with better early pressure for when Yi is banned or countered, Warwick and Nocturne are the most reliable alternatives. Both can carry games independently without requiring team coordination, which is essential in Iron through Gold lobbies.
And if you've tried every champion on this list and you're still stuck — the issue might not be champion selection. Check our hardstuck guide for the other factors that keep players trapped at the same rank.
